silent night

This is probably my busiest holiday ever. With just 1 short month to play, I'm cramming everything i possibly can to squeeze out as much as i can from this Christmas season.

For the past few days, I had been driving a lorry. Heh heh, its was my first time driving such a thing and it was not as easy as I thought it would be. Unlike a car, a lorry have neither the power to accelerate pass a traffic light on amber or brake on time (tmd). Lorries are vehicles made without love... like an abomination that no one gives a shit about. If there is one thing lorries are similar to, it is the toilet seat of a dirty toilet - you need it, but as soon you're done, its flushed and you walk off without giving it a second look. Yes, its that bad.

However it has one redeeming factor - it never fails.

The seat was surprisingly comfortable, the aircon was great and the stereo works! But the engine noise was so loud that the only time I can hear anything is when its stationary. The steering is so vague that it feels like driving on ice, the brakes were made of cheese and the suspension is rock hard. I pity the people who had to sit behind me.

It wasn't very fun to drive a lorry but its fun to try something new once in a while. I urge all of you to say YES to new things :)
